Chanel Distribution Center in Sydney seeks Warehouse Operations Associate. Full-time role involving receiving, picking, packing and dispatching luxury goods.
Role & Responsibilities
- Unload and load shipping containers and local delivery trucks using material handling equipment
- Sort, receive, and reconcile cartons against shipping documentation
- Conduct quality inspections of inbound items to ensure saleable condition
- Execute regulatory rework, including product documentation replacement and processing
- Utilize material handling equipment to place and replenish products in shelving and bulk storage locations
- Independently manage inventory system activities, including cycle counts, stock adjustments, and accuracy verification
- Perform stock reconciliations by investigating variances and escalating discrepancies
- Monitor and utilize automated warehouse and inventory systems to optimize stock accuracy and order fulfillment
- Identify and troubleshoot automation or inventory system issues, coordinating escalation to minimize operational disruption
- Pick orders from pick-face and bulk locations using material handling equipment
- Prepare outbound orders for dispatch, including picking, packing, sealing, and pallet consolidation
- Load outbound orders onto trucks or containers using material handling equipment
Qualifications
- Valid forklift license with minimum 2 years' high-reach experience
- Demonstrated RF picking and packing experience
- Proven experience operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting automated warehouse systems
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a comparable role within a large warehouse environment
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or inventory management platforms
- Strong understanding of supply chain and inventory functions
- Excel proficiency and solid administrative capabilities

Experience
Minimum 2 years' experience in a warehouse operations or distribution center role, with demonstrated expertise in material handling equipment operation, RF picking systems, and warehouse automation systems within a high-volume luxury goods or similar environment.
Education
No formal educational qualification specified; technical certifications in warehouse operations or logistics are advantageous.
