Visual Merchandising Specialist at Chanel Beverly Hills boutique on Rodeo Drive. Oversee window installations, displays, and VM standards for watches and fine jewelry. Full-time, $80K–$100K.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee and communicate all visual merchandising direction, animations, and guidelines to Image Ambassadors and boutique management teams
- Coordinate movement and storage of display elements in collaboration with the Visual Merchandise Manager
- Ensure windows and selling floor are appropriately merchandised according to VM guidelines between regular floor sets and collection launches
- Execute window installations and coordinate proper set-up and use of all fixtures, selling tools, and displays within the boutique
- Photograph entire boutique after floor and window sets according to VM photo guidelines, and maintain updated documentation in Dropbox for submission to the Global Image Team
- Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with boutique management to support merchandise initiatives and meet boutique business needs
- Work independently with minimal supervision while taking ownership of projects and delivering timely results
- Flex and assist with operational and sales floor tasks as needed to support business objectives
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in visual merchandising or a similar position within a luxury jewelry or timepiece brand
- Comprehensive knowledge of jewelry, timepieces, merchandising standards, and visual display best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email applications
- Experience with digital photography and mobile applications to execute and document projects
- Education or professional experience in Display and Exhibition Design, Art, or Fashion-related disciplines
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items up to 25 lbs. regularly, including overhead lifting
- High level of professionalism in communication, attitude, and teamwork with clients, employees, and management
- Flexible schedule including availability for late evenings, weekends, holidays, and internal and external events
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years in a visual merchandising position or higher, preferably with a luxury jewelry or timepiece brand. Direct experience coordinating window installations, floor sets, and maintaining visual standards within a boutique or retail environment is essential.
Education
Education or professional experience in Display and Exhibition Design, Art, or comparable Fashion-related course of study preferred.
