Chanel Visual Merchandising Specialist role in Honolulu, Hawaii. $68,660–$90,000 annually. Full-time retail position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Communicate and oversee all visual merchandising direction, animations, and guidelines to Image Ambassadors and boutique management teams
- Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with Boutique Management to ensure all merchandise initiatives are maintained and business objectives are met
- Coordinate the movement and storage of display elements in conjunction with the Visual Merchandise Manager
- Ensure windows and selling floors are appropriately merchandised on a regular basis following VM guidelines during floor sets, window installations, and collection launches
- Take and manage photographs of entire boutique interior and window displays according to VM photo guidelines, updating documentation in Dropbox with each change for maintenance purposes and submission to the Global Image Team
- Work independently with minimal supervision, taking ownership of projects and delivering results within established timelines
Qualifications
- Minimum associate degree in Display and Exhibition Design or comparable art or fashion-related course of study
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position or higher, preferably with a luxury brand
- Comprehensive knowledge of fashion styling, merchandising, and visual display
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email applications such as Outlook
- Digital photography skills and experience using phone applications to execute projects
- Ability to move heavy items, including overhead lifting, pushing, and pulling of items up to 25 lbs
- High level of professionalism in communication, attitude, and teamwork with clients, employees, and management
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2 years in a similar visual merchandising or display-focused position, preferably with a luxury fashion brand. Strong track record of successfully implementing visual standards across multi-location boutique environments.
Education
Associate degree in Display and Exhibition Design or equivalent art or fashion-related course of study required.
