Chanel in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Visual Merchandising Specialist — Crystals to design and install luxury crystal displays.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, install and maintain crystal-led visual displays and window concepts that uphold Chanel’s brand language and seasonal directives
- Translate creative briefs from Global/Regional Visual Merchandising into precise in-store execution plans and installation schematics
- Manage the handling, inventory and documentation of fragile crystal assets and decorative elements, ensuring secure storage and transport
- Coordinate cross-functionally with store managers, visual teams, technical installers and external vendors to schedule rollouts and remounts
- Supervise on-site installations, ensuring impeccable finish, structural safety and compliance with in-store regulations
- Provide training and guidance to boutique teams on display upkeep, daily resetting and crystal care standards
- Report on installation progress, asset condition and any deviations from creative directives; recommend corrective actions
Qualifications
- Proven experience executing luxury retail visual merchandising, with demonstrable work on crystal, glass or intricate decorative elements
- Strong aesthetic judgement and an expert eye for proportion, lighting and material interplay in a luxury retail environment
- Practical knowledge of installation techniques for delicate fixtures, rigging and secure mounting
- Excellent organisational and project-management skills, including the ability to coordinate multiple store rollouts and third-party contractors
- Professional demeanour appropriate to a high-end luxury environment and the ability to train and influence boutique teams
Skills
Experience
Typically requires 3–5 years of hands-on visual merchandising or display installation experience within luxury fashion, jewelry or high-end retail; specific experience with crystal or glass fixtures is strongly preferred.
Education
Degree or diploma in visual merchandising, set/exhibit design, interior design, or equivalent professional experience.
