Chanel Visual Merchandising Specialist, Costa Mesa—oversee boutique visual standards, window displays, and merchandise coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Communicate and oversee all appropriate visual merchandising direction, animations, and guidelines to Image Ambassadors and boutique management
- Develop and maintain working relationships with boutique management teams to ensure all pertinent merchandise initiatives are maintained and boutique business needs are addressed
- Coordinate the movement and storage of display elements in conjunction with the Visual Merchandise Manager
- Ensure windows and selling floors are appropriately merchandised on a regular basis following visual merchandising guidelines between regular floor sets, window installations, and collection launches
- Ensure photographs are taken of the entire boutique after floor and window sets according to visual merchandising photo guidelines for maintenance purposes and submission to the Global Image Team
- Update photographs in Dropbox every time changes are made to the boutiques
- Work independently with minimal supervision, taking ownership of projects and delivering timely results
Qualifications
- Minimum associate degree in Display and Exhibition Design or comparable art or fashion-related course of study
- Minimum of 2 years in a similar position or higher, preferably with a luxury brand
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email (e.g., Outlook)
- Comprehensive knowledge of fashion styling, merchandising, and visual display
- Working knowledge of digital photography and mobile applications to execute projects
- High level of professionalism in communication, attitude, and teamwork with clients, employees, and management
- Ability to move heavy items, including overhead lifting, pulling, and pushing of items up to 25 lbs
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work late nights, weekends, and some holidays
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2 years in a visual merchandising or similar position, preferably within a luxury brand environment. Demonstrated experience coordinating window installations, maintaining visual standards, and collaborating with retail management teams is essential.
Education
Minimum associate degree in Display and Exhibition Design or a comparable art or fashion-related course of study.
