CHANEL is seeking a Visual Merchandising Specialist to coordinate boutique presentation, window installations, display elements, and visual merchandising standards, partnering with the Visual Lead and boutique management. The role is full-time, requires in-store and in-person presence, a flexible schedule including late nights, weekends, and some holidays, and at least two years of relevant experience.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate visual merchandising standards throughout the boutique during operating hours and events.
  • Work with the Visual Lead to supervise implementation and maintenance of visual merchandising guidelines, including window installations and the appropriate setup and use of fixtures, selling tools, and mannequins.
  • Communicate and oversee visual merchandising direction, animations, and guidelines with Image Ambassadors and boutique management.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with boutique management teams to ensure merchandise initiatives are maintained and business needs are met.
  • Coordinate the movement and storage of display elements with the Visual Merchandise Manager.
  • Maintain appropriate merchandising in windows and on selling floors between floor sets, window installations, and collection launches, in line with visual merchandising guidelines.
  • Photograph the entire boutique after floor and window sets in accordance with visual merchandising photo guidelines, for maintenance and submission to the Global Image Team; update photos in Dropbox whenever boutique displays change.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, take ownership of projects, and deliver results on time.

Qualifications

  • Ability to thrive in a team environment and collaborate effectively.
  • Understanding of and passion for client experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Foreign language skills preferred but not required.
  • Passion for the House of CHANEL, its history, product offerings, and commitment to social and cultural initiatives.
  • Curiosity and a desire to learn and grow professionally within the world of CHANEL.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of fashion styling, merchandising, and visual display.
  • Professional communication, attitude, and teamwork with clients, employees, and management.
  • Ability to move heavy items, including overhead lifting, pulling, and pushing items up to 25 lbs.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work late nights, weekends, and some holidays.
  • Full-time, in-store and in-person presence to support client sales and service and drive business results.

Experience

Minimum of 2 years in a similar position or higher, preferably with a luxury brand.

Education

Minimum associate degree in Display and Exhibition Design or a comparable art- or fashion-related course of study.
