Chanel Visual Merchandising Project Coordinator internship in Paris; 6-month program supporting international point-of-sale marketing initiatives for Watches and Fine Jewellery.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage visual merchandising projects from concept through global deployment
  • Update and maintain the Visual Merchandising Tools Book with current standards and best practices
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses following each in-store visual merchandising launch and activation worldwide
  • Develop and refine best practices frameworks and analytical reports to enhance market support
  • Track and monitor visual merchandising deployment across all markets, synthesizing annual VM plans by region
  • Monitor point-of-sale material offerings and create guidelines for new display elements and décor launches
  • Develop visual merchandising guidelines for regional markets, ensuring deliverables are met and timelines are respected
  • Perform regular competitive intelligence analysis and produce reports highlighting competitor best practices
  • Manage administrative coordination including invoicing, sample distribution, and visual asset delivery to markets
  • Respond to market requests and coordinate special departmental events such as seminars and team-building activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (Bac +4/5) in business school or Master's degree in Marketing or equivalent
  • Ideally two years of professional experience in point-of-sale marketing or visual merchandising
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating international projects
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and standard office software
  • Strong organizational and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Results-oriented mindset with ability to manage multiple stakeholders
