  • Own, maintain and continually elevate the boutique image, upholding impeccable presentation standards across all client-facing areas.
  • Manage, guide and develop the boutique visual merchandising team by establishing priorities, accountability and consistent working practices.
  • Translate visual merchandising directives and strategic guidance into engaging, client-centric displays aligned with the boutique and CHANEL brand vision.
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback on directive implementation, execution opportunities and boutique-specific needs.
  • Partner with boutique leadership and staff to align visual merchandising with sales priorities, client needs and broader business goals.
  • Assess evolving business needs, adapt visual solutions and realign activities while protecting brand standards.
  • Deliver visual merchandising training, morning-meeting briefs and ongoing visual education to build shared ownership of standards.
  • Identify and respond promptly to boutique-specific opportunities, using sound judgment and resourcefulness to deliver effective solutions.
  • Take personal responsibility for the boutique’s visual appearance, execution quality and readiness.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated visual merchandising experience, ideally in luxury retail, fashion, beauty or a similarly client-centric environment.
  • Experience leading, developing or coordinating a visual merchandising team in a boutique or comparable retail environment.
  • Strong boutique-level execution skills and the ability to translate strategic direction into polished, commercially relevant visual solutions.
  • Collaborative communication style and the ability to build productive partnerships with boutique leadership and staff.
  • Proven initiative, sound judgment and a solutions-oriented approach to changing business needs and execution challenges.
  • Excellent organization, prioritization and follow-through, with the ability to operate independently while staying aligned with leadership.
  • A keen eye for detail and an uncompromising commitment to maintaining an elevated, consistent brand image.
  • Ability to support US launches outside the home market as business needs require.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional early mornings, evenings, weekends or overnights, to support visual installations and business needs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift and move visual merchandising materials as needed, in accordance with applicable policies and accommodations.
  • Ability to travel by airplane, train and automobile; a valid driver’s license and passport, a reliable car for local travel, and car insurance where applicable.
