Chanel Visual Merchandising Intern in Geneva – 6-month full-time internship supporting luxury fashion display and in-store presentations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure displays and window presentations conform daily to Chanel visual guidelines through proactive inspection and product rotation
- Collaborate with the VM team on preparatory work for in-store scenography rotations and window décor refreshes
- Execute in-store rotation changes and window display installations according to brand specifications
- Verify product labeling compliance with established visual merchandising rules and brand standards
- Communicate display zone changes and updates to sales floor teams to optimize customer experience
- Engage with store teams to identify merchandising opportunities and support sales objectives
- Document and communicate all display changes through photos and proactively share feedback from floor managers with the VM department
- Install and execute VM animation installations within the retail environment
- Support price display management and ensure pricing accuracy across all merchandise
- Manage VM tool inventory, conduct stock audits, and track delivery of visual merchandising equipment and materials
Qualifications
- Tertiary education in Design, Graphic Design, Styling, Visual Merchandising, or Fashion
- Demonstrated experience in luxury retail boutiques, visual merchandising, or sales environments
- Strong fashion industry knowledge and visual aesthetic sensibility
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to execute precise visual presentations
- Capacity to maintain focus, discretion, and composure under pressure
- Self-directed work ethic with proven organizational ability
- Initiative-taking mindset paired with methodical execution and adaptability
- Collaborative teamwork capability with interpersonal sensitivity and environmental flexibility
Skills
Experience
One or more years of professional experience in luxury retail boutiques, visual merchandising, or sales environments.
Education
Tertiary education qualification in Design, Graphic Design, Styling, Visual Merchandising, or Fashion.
