Role & Responsibilities

  • Proactively plan all Visual Merchandising workflows to ensure timely and successful execution across boutiques, department stores, and travel retail locations
  • Forecast and coordinate the ordering of global VM materials while sourcing, ordering, and managing locally and regionally produced special promotional materials (SPMs)
  • Prepare and manage technical drawings, planograms, and layout plans for in-store VM changes and promotional setups aligned with the marketing calendar
  • Maintain campaign films and window animations at point-of-sale, ensuring synchronization with marketing launches and retail activations
  • Manage and oversee multiple contractors and suppliers to deliver high-quality VM execution within brand standards and timelines
  • Conduct regular point-of-sale visits to continuously improve and uphold brand image, fostering CHANEL's VM culture among retail teams
  • Support new boutique openings and in-store activations with strategic VM presentations tailored to individual location requirements
  • Plan and manage budgets for window displays, retail animations, and special events while handling administrative documentation and purchase requisitions
  • Document all VM executions with comprehensive photographic and written reports, maintaining archives of visual assets across digital servers and vendor-shared spaces
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Retail, Product, and Regional VM teams to address requests and drive strategic improvements to point-of-sale standards

Qualifications

  • Minimum Advanced Diploma in Interior Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or related field
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), SketchUp, AutoCAD, or equivalent 2D/3D design software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Proven ability to read, prepare, and interpret technical and construction drawings for window displays and promotional setups
  • Demonstrated expertise in translating VM presentations into actionable merchandising guidelines for retail environments
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple contractors and suppliers
  • High attention to detail with demonstrated creative and innovative mindset
  • Excellent organizational and project management capabilities with ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines

Experience

At least 2–3 years of professional experience in retail visual merchandising, ideally within the luxury or cosmetics sector. Proven hands-on experience in visual merchandising coordination, with background in departmental stores, retail environments, exhibition design, or design agencies considered advantageous. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple contractors, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholder relationships.

Education

Advanced Diploma in Interior Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related creative discipline.
