Chanel Visual Merchandising Executive, Dubai, UAE – 1-year contract role coordinating luxury beauty campaign execution and retail visual strategy across the Middle East.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop regional visual merchandising guidelines and campaign-specific strategies, creating locally relevant assets with emphasis on UAE market requirements
- Design three-axis planograms and manage high-resolution visual and video assets, including colour proofs and market-adapted content for distribution to local teams
- Coordinate suppliers on production schedules aligned with the visual merchandising calendar across multi-channel distribution
- Conduct regular store visits across the UAE and regional markets to assess execution quality and ensure CHANEL brand image consistency
- Manage visual merchandising budgets by product line and market; prepare and oversee budget allocation and invoicing processes
- Create detailed post-campaign reports documenting execution, retailer feedback, and strategic learnings for continuous improvement
- Communicate campaign updates and forecasting recommendations to local teams and internal stakeholders
- Support permanent merchandising projects and boutique-specific visual needs in collaboration with the Regional Merchandising Manager
- Foster regional visual merchandising community engagement through newsletters, training sessions, and strategic communications
- Identify execution gaps during store audits and implement corrective actions with retail partners
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Visual Merchandising or Operational Marketing, preferably within the Middle East market
- Advanced eye for visual excellence and luxury brand aesthetics
- Strong organisational and project management capabilities with ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects across different markets
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets and supplier relationships in a retail or distribution environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to luxury brand standards
- Proven track record of effective cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
Skills
Experience
First successful experience in Visual Merchandising or Operational Marketing, ideally gained within the Middle East region. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in multi-market, multi-stakeholder environments with proven success in luxury retail execution.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent minimum; formal education in Fashion Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Business Administration, or related discipline is advantageous.
