Chanel Visual Merchandising Associate position at 57th Street Flagship Boutique, New York, NY. Full-time $28–$31/hr with comprehensive benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Expedite the selling process by changing mannequins, pulling and replenishing items from the selling floor, and making display substitutions when product is needed for clients
- Serve as the primary point of contact for visual merchandising matters during projects, corporate holidays, and weekends when the Visual Merchandising Lead is unavailable
- Support the operations team with product preparation for floor moves and collection launches, including touching and conditioning display items
- Update and maintain digital photo files documenting visual merchandising changes for reference and continuity purposes
- Keep detailed documentation of window items current with accurate SKU, price, size, and product information for the selling team's reference
- Assist in the implementation of events, sales initiatives, seasonal installations, and corporate events that drive business results
- Communicate effectively with boutique selling staff and management to ensure seamless coordination and execution
- Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining the highest standards of presentation and brand integrity
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of related experience in visual merchandising, retail display, or a similar role
- Basic knowledge of retail operations, display principles, and merchandising best practices
- Demonstrated experience with basic computer software and digital photography
- Associate degree or higher, preferably in a fashion-related field
- Ability to work on a ladder and willingness to lift 30–40 lbs. regularly
- Capable of moving heavy items, including overhead lifting, pulling, and pushing of items up to 25 lbs.
- Flexible schedule with availability for late evening hours, weekends, and select holiday shifts
- Full-time in-store and in-person presence required to support client service

Experience
Minimum 2 years of related experience in visual merchandising, retail display, boutique operations, or a comparable role within a luxury retail environment.
Education
Associate degree or higher, preferably in a fashion-related discipline or equivalent professional experience in luxury retail.
