Chanel Visual Merchandising Associate in Los Angeles – Maintain brand image, manage boutique displays, support sales team, $23–$28/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Maintain and expedite visual displays by changing mannequins, pulling and replenishing merchandise, and making substitutions to support the selling floor and client needs
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the boutique during periods when the Visual Merchandising Lead is unavailable, including corporate holidays and weekends
  • Support the Operations team with product preparation, floor moves, collection launches, and Price Touching (P Touching) of display items
  • Update and maintain digital photo files for visual merchandising documentation as displays change
  • Keep detailed records of window inventory including SKU, price, and size information for the selling team's reference
  • Assist in the implementation of events, sales, seasonal installations, corporate initiatives, and other business-driving activities throughout the boutique
  • Communicate effectively with boutique selling team and management to ensure cohesive visual brand presentation
  • Work independently and manage multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic, fast-paced retail environment

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of related retail, display, or merchandising experience
  • Knowledge of retail operations and visual merchandising principles
  • Proficiency with basic computer software and digital photography
  • Associate degree or higher; fashion-related field preferred
  • Ability to work on ladders and lift 30–40 lbs regularly
  • Capability to move heavy items, including overhead lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 25 lbs
  • Flexible schedule accommodating late evenings, weekends, and select holidays
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Appreciation for luxury heritage and brand aesthetics

Experience
