Chanel Visual Merchandising Associate, Costa Mesa, CA. Maintain brand image, update displays, and support retail operations in this full-time luxury retail role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain boutique visual standards by changing mannequins, replenishing merchandise, and substituting display items as needed to support the selling floor
- Serve as the primary point of contact for visual merchandising matters when the VM Lead is unavailable, during corporate holidays, and on weekends
- Support operations team with product preparation for floor moves, collection launches, and price touching of display items
- Update and maintain digital photo files for visual merchandising documentation and reference purposes
- Maintain accurate documentation of window displays, including SKUs, pricing, sizes, and other details for the selling team
- Execute implementation of seasonal installations, sales events, and corporate initiatives in collaboration with boutique management and staff
- Communicate effectively with boutique selling team and management regarding merchandising needs and updates
- Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining brand standards and retail operations protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of related retail or visual merchandising experience
- Basic knowledge of retail operations, display techniques, and merchandising principles
- Proficiency with basic computer software and digital photography
- Associate degree or higher, preferably in a fashion-related field
- Ability to work on a ladder and lift 30–40 lbs. regularly
- Capacity to move heavy items including overhead lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 25 lbs.
- Flexible schedule availability including late nights, weekends, and holiday work
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2 years of related experience in retail operations, visual merchandising, or display design within a luxury or high-end retail environment. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a boutique setting and familiarity with maintaining brand standards.
Education
Associate degree or higher; a Fashion-related major is preferred but not required.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 25.50 to USD 33.50 per hour.
