Chanel Visual Merchandising Assistant internship, Paris. 6-month fashion retail display role at luxury boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure displays and window vitrines comply with brand visual guidelines through daily inspection, replacement, and repositioning of products as needed
- Collaborate with the visual merchandising team on preparations for in-store scenography rotations and transitions
- Execute in-store rotations and window display updates according to established protocols
- Verify product labeling conforms to visual merchandising standards and brand regulations
- Communicate with sales floor teams regarding display zone changes and optimization opportunities
- Proactively share updates, photographs, and floor manager feedback with the visual merchandising department
- Participate in the installation and setup of visual merchandising animations and promotional installations within the boutique
- Manage price display implementation and ensure consistency across all retail spaces
- Organize, inventory, and track visual merchandising tools and materials, including coordinating delivery schedules
Qualifications
- Higher education qualification in fashion, retail, or a related discipline
- One or more prior experiences in luxury boutique retail, visual merchandising, and/or sales environments
- Strong aesthetic sensibility and acute visual awareness
- Demonstrated attention to detail in execution of visual display work
- Ability to maintain focus, discretion, and composure under pressure
- Capacity for independent initiative combined with precision and operational agility
- Proficiency in collaborative teamwork with empathy and adaptability to dynamic retail environments
