Chanel — Paris: Visual Merchandising Assistant (alternance) starting Sept 2026. Support VM education, store training and display execution.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Visual Merchandising Education team in developing and delivering training programs and workshops for store teams across the fashion network.
  • Assist in the preparation of visual guidelines, training manuals, presentation decks and hands‑on workshop materials.
  • Coordinate logistics for store visits, in‑store training sessions and display installations, including scheduling and materials management.
  • Contribute to the conception and execution of window and in‑store displays under the supervision of senior VM staff.
  • Maintain and organise prop, mannequin and sample inventories used for training and visual projects.
  • Liaise with retail store teams and regional VM managers to ensure alignment with global VM standards and pedagogical objectives.
  • Document training outcomes, produce simple reports and visual records, and track compliance with display directives.
  • Provide on‑the‑ground support during rollouts, including installation assistance and immediate troubleshooting.

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in an accredited vocational or higher education programme relevant to visual merchandising, fashion, retail, applied arts or communication and eligible for alternance/work‑study.
  • Strong visual sensibility and a demonstrable interest in luxury fashion presentation and store standards.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple logistical tasks simultaneously.
  • Professional demeanour, strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to liaise with boutique teams and trainers.
  • Availability to start in September 2026 and to commit to the duration of an alternance contract in France.

Experience
