Chanel seeks a Visual Merchandising Assistant for a six-month internship in Cannes starting January 2027. Support luxury fashion displays and window presentations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain daily compliance of displays and window presentations with Chanel visual merchandising guidelines
- Support preparation and execution of in-store scenography rotations and window décor changes
- Ensure product labeling adheres to established visual standards and brand requirements
- Communicate display zone updates and changes to retail sales teams as needed
- Participate in installation of visual merchandising animations and promotional installations
- Manage pricing display and ensure accurate price point presentation
- Organize, inventory, and track visual merchandising tools and materials
- Apply merchandising rules consistently across all product lines while maintaining brand image standards
- Provide regular photographic documentation and feedback to the visual merchandising team
- Support sales team optimization efforts through responsive communication regarding display effectiveness
Qualifications
- Higher education diploma or equivalent
- Experience in luxury boutique environments, visual merchandising, and/or retail sales
- Strong fashion culture and industry knowledge
- Demonstrated creative ability with heightened visual sensitivity
- Exceptional attention to detail and design awareness
- Ability to concentrate, exercise discretion, and manage stress effectively
Skills
Experience
One or more years of experience in a luxury boutique, visual merchandising, or retail sales environment.
Education
Higher education qualification (Bac+2 or equivalent).
