Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement visual merchandising concepts and seasonal store plans for Chanel Fragrance & Beauty across the Toronto market, ensuring alignment with global brand directives.
- Lead end‑to‑end event planning and production for product launches, VIP client activations and in‑store experiences, coordinating calendars, logistics and on‑site execution.
- Manage budgets, timelines and vendor relationships — including scenic designers, fabricators and installation crews — to deliver high‑quality, on‑brand activations.
- Collaborate with retail leadership, commercial planning, marketing and PR to integrate VM programs with promotional calendars and sales objectives.
- Oversee installation standards and store audits, ensuring retail environments meet brand visual, merchandising and safety specifications.
- Prepare post‑activation reporting and performance analysis to measure impact on traffic, conversion and sell‑through; propose iterative improvements.
- Coach and mentor visual teams and temporary event staff; act as the brand steward for visual storytelling and presentation standards in market.

- Demonstrable experience (typically 5+ years) in visual merchandising and event production within luxury retail, ideally in fragrance, beauty or couture.
- Proven track record of managing retail activations, product launches and vendor partnerships with strong budgetary discipline.
- Portfolio of executed visual concepts and events showing creative vision, space planning and attention to brand detail.
- Strong leadership skills with experience supervising cross‑functional teams and temporary crews.
