Chanel Visual Merchandiser position in Milan, Italy. Permanent full-time role managing boutique displays and brand presentation for luxury fashion retail.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Co-manage boutique visual presentation and upkeep, ensuring impeccable standards for organization, display and cleanliness
  • Apply Visual Merchandising guidelines and maintain boutique procedures consistently across all operations
  • Maintain window displays to the highest standard, overseeing lighting, product positioning and presentation quality
  • Conduct daily display maintenance and product replenishment to sustain visual excellence
  • Manage product labelling and price display accuracy
  • Educate and inspire sales teams on display standards and visual merchandising best practices
  • Monitor VM tool inventory, conduct regular reviews and communicate replenishment needs to management
  • Develop compelling displays that reflect collection narratives and Chanel's heritage and craftsmanship
  • Utilize knowledge of luxury and fashion trends to proactively generate creative display proposals
  • Complete and submit display photo reporting accurately and within specified deadlines
  • Participate actively in morning briefs and contribute strategic ideas to enhance boutique performance
  • Collaborate with Fashion Advisors to integrate client feedback into display implementations
  • Execute weekly product rotations and work closely with stock teams to optimize inventory management
  • Support commercial performance through strategic use of stock knowledge and display-driven merchandising

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Visual Merchandising within luxury or fashion retail
  • Advanced knowledge of luxury fashion heritage, contemporary design trends and industry best practices
  • Demonstrable creative excellence with strong conceptual and execution capabilities
  • Fluency in Italian and English (required)
  • Strong intercultural awareness and ability to work in international contexts
  • Proven track record of maintaining brand standards and visual consistency across multiple touchpoints

Experience

Education

Secondary education; advanced training or certifications in Visual Merchandising, fashion design or luxury retail management are advantageous.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position is EUR 40,000 per annum.
