Chanel is hiring a VIP Relations Associate in New York, NY to manage and grow relationships with high-net-worth clients.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with high-net-worth and VIP clients through personalised outreach and clienteling strategies.
- Manage client appointment scheduling, private viewings and bespoke in-store experiences in coordination with store management and sales teams.
- Maintain and enrich CRM client profiles with precise notes, preferences, purchase history and follow-up actions to drive repeat business and lifetime value.
- Serve as a primary concierge for VIP requests including special orders, inventory searches, inter-store transfers and coordination with merchandising or ateliers.
- Collaborate with visual merchandising, events and marketing teams to deliver exclusive client events and tailored communications.
- Ensure the highest standards of discretion, presentation and service consistent with Chanel’s brand values.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to cultivate and retain relationships with affluent clientele while demonstrating discretion and diplomacy.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; polished professional presence.
- Strong organisational aptitude with meticulous attention to detail and follow-through.
- Availability to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends and occasional travel for client events.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and judgement.
Skills
Experience
Typically 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in VIP/client relations, luxury retail sales, private client management or a concierge-facing role within a high-end fashion or luxury goods environment.
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent professional experience in luxury retail or client services will be accepted.
