Chanel is hiring a Travelling Make Up Artist in Paris. Permanent role, fluent English required, five years' experience or makeup diploma.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and guide clients through an immersive journey within the point of sale, crafting warm and bespoke experiences that reinforce Chanel's brand promise
- Deliver custom beauty services and consultations, leveraging comprehensive product knowledge and an understanding of the House's heritage, modernity, and savoir-faire
- Develop and nurture a personal client portfolio, ensuring post-visit follow-up and loyalty initiatives that extend the Chanel experience beyond the retail environment
- Actively contribute to omnichannel strategy by staying current with Chanel's digital initiatives and market trends, ensuring consistent customer experiences across all channels
- Achieve sales targets by leveraging all available levers including product assortment, value-added services, and data capture, while maintaining team engagement and animating the retail space
- Act as a thought leader within the team, sharing best practices, proposing creative action plans, and fostering collective knowledge development
- Participate in select press relations events and internal Maison gatherings as required
Qualifications
- Diploma in makeup artistry or five years of professional experience as a make up artist
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities with a strong team orientation
- Proactive mindset with strong listening skills and adaptability in a fast-evolving environment
- Demonstrated drive for performance excellence and competitive challenge
- Sensitivity to fashion and trends; openness to intercultural perspectives
- Fluent English language proficiency
