Chanel Transport and Customs Specialist – La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. Manage logistics, customs clearance, and international trade operations for the Watchmaking and Jewelry Division.
Role & Responsibilities
- Pilot and coordinate transport requests for international markets, supplier flows, and event transfers
- Verify export/import documentation including proformas, invoices, and packing lists
- Communicate customs clearance instructions and manage customs regimes (PA/PP/AT)
- Develop and manage freight forwarder relationships and vendor performance
- Control customs tarification for all product categories
- Supervise customs deadlines and compliance requirements
- Track customs disputes, establish corrective action plans, and monitor resolution
- Audit and validate transport-related invoices for accuracy
- Participate in project management initiatives such as TMS implementation, regulatory monitoring, and carrier deployment
- Formalize and update processes related to transport and customs operations
- Provide internal team support and guidance on transport and customs matters
Qualifications
- Master's degree (or equivalent) in Logistics, International Business, or Supply Chain Management
- Minimum 3 years' experience in international commerce and customs operations
- Proficiency in English language
- Strong command of Microsoft Office suite
- Fluency with digital tools and systems
- Customer-focused mindset with proven solution orientation
- Demonstrated proactive approach and strong problem-solving capabilities

Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in international commerce, preferably with direct exposure to customs clearance, freight coordination, and international trade operations within a manufacturing or luxury goods environment.
Education
Master's degree or equivalent tertiary qualification, ideally with specialization in Logistics, International Business, Supply Chain Management, or International Trade.
