Chanel in Singapore seeks a Timepieces & Fine Jewellery Specialist to advise clients on watches and high jewellery and drive boutique sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, discreet client service and maintain long-term relationships with a high-net-worth and international clientele through proactive clienteling and personalised appointments.
- Advise clients with authoritative knowledge across Chanel’s timepieces and fine jewellery collections, including technical horology, gemstone characteristics and provenance.
- Achieve individual and boutique sales targets while contributing to store KPIs, promotional events, launches and trunk shows.
- Manage merchandising and presentation of timepieces and jewellery to brand standards; ensure displays are immaculate, secure and rotated according to collection cycles.
- Coordinate after-sales service and warranty procedures, liaise with internal workshops and external service centres to ensure timely repairs and client follow-up.
- Maintain accurate stock control, complete audit and transfer documentation, reconcile inventory and support loss-prevention protocols.
- Use CRM to record client interactions, follow up on leads and personalise outreach; participate in regular product and sales training.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury watch or fine jewellery retail, ideally 3+ years with quantifiable sales achievements.
- Strong technical understanding of haute horlogerie concepts and gemstone/grading fundamentals; formal certifications (e.g., WOSTEP, GIA) are advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage relationships with affluent clients and deliver white-glove service.
- Excellent numeracy and administrative rigour for stock reconciliation, sales reporting and warranty handling.
- High level of discretion, professionalism and cultural sensitivity when serving an international clientele.

Experience
Typically 3+ years’ frontline experience selling luxury watches or fine jewellery within boutique retail, with a documented track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing high-value transactions.
Education
High-school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in luxury retail, gemology or horology preferred. Certifications such as GIA (Gemological Institute of America) or WOSTEP are advantageous.
