Chanel seeks a Textile Haberdashery Development Coordinator in Paris to lead ready-to-wear trimmings development and a product management team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of textile haberdashery product managers
- Organise priorities, allocate workload, and ensure adherence to collection schedules
- Monitor development progress, identify risks, and make necessary trade-off decisions
- Coordinate all textile haberdashery developments for ready-to-wear collections and guarantee technical feasibility, quality, and industrialisation
- Supervise technical refinements, trials, and validations required for production handover
- Support suppliers and partners in resolving technical challenges and implementing solutions
- Serve as primary liaison between the Design Studio, internal Product teams, Procurement, and external suppliers
- Translate creative intentions into technically and industrially viable solutions
- Identify new capabilities, innovations, and strategic partners aligned with category strategy
- Implement supplier panel strategy for the category
- Monitor development costs and contribute to category performance optimisation
- Build, track, and analyse key performance indicators
- Champion continuous process improvement and deployment of responsible transformation commitments
Qualifications
- Engineering school or business school degree
- Minimum 7 years' experience in materials development, components, or haberdashery within fashion and/or luxury
- Expert knowledge of textile haberdashery and manufacturing processes
- Demonstrated team leadership and management experience
- Ability to pilot multiple projects concurrently
- Fluency in French and English (Italian is a plus)
- Proficiency with Excel, PLM systems, and performance management tools
- Strong leadership, collaborative spirit, proactivity, adaptability, rigour, product acumen, intellectual curiosity, relationship-building skills, and results orientation

Experience
Minimum 7 years in materials, components, or haberdashery development within fashion and luxury sectors, with demonstrated experience in team leadership and animation of cross-functional groups.
Education
Engineering school (Grande École d'Ingénieur) or business school (École de Commerce) diploma.
