Chanel Team Manager position at Selfridges Accessories, London. Lead luxury retail operations and manage boutique staff in this full-time permanent role.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as a strong presence on the shopfloor, leading the team with a collaborative approach and serving as a bridge between frontline staff and senior management
  • Motivate and inspire the team to deliver the ultimate Chanel luxury experience while maintaining the boutique to luxury standards in visual merchandising, wrapping, and product replenishment
  • Report into the Assistant Managers and Boutique Director, providing constant feedback, solving operational challenges, and celebrating team successes
  • Drive business priorities through team engagement with systems such as CHANEL & Moi, CRM, and IFL to embed a culture of consistent learning, clienteling, and exceptional service
  • Provide feedback to the management team on departmental performance in terms of sales, merchandising, and develop action plans to elevate the client experience
  • Ensure thorough understanding of all operational procedures and systems while supporting the Fashion Advisor team
  • Create a thriving team environment with psychological safety and two-way communication, leading by example and maintaining a calm, professional atmosphere
  • Develop a positive culture and long-term vision, building the management team of the future while protecting the Chanel brand positioning

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in team management or supervisory roles within luxury retail
  • Demonstrated passion for people management and ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Strong understanding of luxury brand positioning and service excellence standards
  • Excellent communication and diplomacy skills with the ability to filter and translate messages between senior management and shopfloor teams
