Chanel in London seeks a Talent Management Project Manager to lead succession, leadership development and talent initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end talent management and organisational development projects (succession planning, leadership development, high-potential programmes) across the UK and wider regions as required.
- Develop project plans, timelines, budgets and risk logs; coordinate cross-functional stakeholders including L&D, Rewards, HR Business Partners and senior leadership.
- Design and implement governance, tools and reporting for succession and talent review processes, ensuring data integrity in the HRIS.
- Drive change management and internal communications to secure stakeholder buy-in and sustain adoption of new processes and programmes.
- Commission and manage external partners and vendors (assessment centres, executive coaches, learning providers) where required.
- Prepare concise, data-driven reporting and presentations for senior stakeholders and executive committees; monitor programme effectiveness through people analytics.
Qualifications
- Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
- Professional HR accreditation preferred (e.g., CIPD) and/or project management certification (PMP, Prince2 or equivalent) desirable.
- Demonstrable expertise in talent management, succession planning and leadership development frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership in a matrix environment.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills with high proficiency in HR data interpretation.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of 5 years' experience in human resources with at least 3 years focused on talent management, organisational development or running large-scale HR programmes. Experience working in luxury retail, fashion, or a comparable international, matrixed organisation is strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or related field; professional HR qualification (CIPD) or project management certification preferred.
