Chanel, Paris: Lead talent development and D&I strategy for the Watches & Fine Jewelry Division. Full-time permanent role reporting to Director.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and deploy talent development strategy and programs in collaboration with HR Business Partners, including implementation of talent review cycles, performance management, mobility processes, and succession planning
  • Establish and manage talent pathway frameworks for all departments within the division, ensuring visibility and accessibility to support career mobility and professional growth
  • Co-design and oversee individual and collective support programs for teams and leaders within the Watches & Fine Jewelry Division to facilitate their development and advancement
  • Develop and implement action plans to strengthen performance management culture and leadership effectiveness across the division
  • Define, analyze, and monitor talent KPIs to optimize talent development initiatives and inform strategic HR decision-making
  • Manage the onboarding and integration experience for new hires and ecosystem employees, developing innovative modules and programs in alignment with global standards
  • Actively contribute to diversity and inclusion strategic initiatives for the division, ensuring deployment of Chanel's global D&I policies and representing the division in cross-functional forums
  • Participate in transformation projects focused on key skills development, talent retention, and preservation of artisanal expertise to support business growth
  • Lead and mentor a dedicated team responsible for talent development and diversity initiatives, comprising one fixed-term contract employee and one intern

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in talent development, skills development, or HR generalist roles with strong emphasis on talent development and retention
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing talent management processes (talent reviews, performance management, mobility cycles, succession planning)
  • Strong analytical, synthesis, and formalization capabilities
  • Proven leadership and management competencies
  • Expertise in influencing and managing through matrix structures
  • Fluency in both French and English (written and oral)
