Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensure each garment is impeccably tailored to the client's measurements, maintaining the creative intent of the Studio and the highest standards of the House.
  • Act as an ambassador of Chanel's style and values, delivering a unique, personalized experience to clients.
  • Collaborate closely with Fashion Advisors during fittings to provide expert advice and recommendations.
  • Conduct meticulous alterations and repairs on both simple and structured pieces, ensuring invisible, precise results.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fabrics, construction techniques, and the latest collection guidelines.
  • Record and track all alteration activities using Chanel’s after-sales platforms and procedures.
  • Coordinate alteration workflow, manage timelines, and communicate clearly with boutique staff and management.
  • Demonstrate agility and flexibility to support boutique needs, especially during peak periods.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of professional tailoring experience, ideally in luxury fashion.
  • Formal dressmaking training.

Skills

Exceptional attention to detail and a meticulous approach to every stitch. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-first mindset. Organized, thorough, and proactive, able to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic retail environment. Flexible and adaptable, available to work retail hours including weekends and peak periods. Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.

Experience

3–5 years of professional tailoring experience, ideally in luxury fashion.

Education

Formal dressmaking training.
