Role & Responsibilities

  • Define, maintain and evolve the sustainability performance measurement framework and KPIs across environmental and social dimensions.
  • Own end-to-end data collection, validation and consolidation for ESG metrics, ensuring data quality and auditable trails for internal and external reporting.
  • Produce regular analytical insights and dashboards to translate sustainability performance into business-relevant recommendations for commercial, product and operations teams.
  • Lead preparation of external disclosures and responses to benchmarking frameworks and indices (e.g., CDP, GRI, sustainability ratings) and support external assurance processes.
  • Partner cross-functionally with sourcing, product, manufacturing, retail and finance to integrate performance targets into planning and investment decisions.
  • Manage relationships with external consultants, data providers and verification bodies to deliver robust measurement and continuous improvement.
  • Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders and contribute to governance forums that oversee ESG targets and roadmaps.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, economics or a related discipline; master’s degree or advanced qualification preferred.
  • Demonstrable experience in sustainability reporting, carbon accounting and KPI design with proven familiarity with reporting frameworks (GRI, CDP, SASB/ISSB).
  • Strong quantitative aptitude and experience working with large operational datasets; proven ability to translate data into executive-level insights.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and project leadership skills across multidisciplinary, international teams.
  • Relevant professional credentials desirable (e.g., GHG Protocol training, sustainability reporting/assurance certification).
