Chanel – Paris: Sustainability Partnerships Project Assistant (Intern). Internship in Fashion sustainability partnerships, starting August 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Sustainability Partnerships Project Manager in the design, implementation and monitoring of strategic partnerships related to sustainable development within the fashion division.
- Coordinate day-to-day project activities: prepare agendas, organise meetings, manage calendars, and track action items across internal and external stakeholders.
- Consolidate project documentation and produce concise progress reports, presentations and briefing notes for senior stakeholders.
- Conduct research and due diligence on potential NGO, academic and corporate partners; map stakeholder landscapes and benchmark best practices.
- Contribute to the preparation and monitoring of project timelines, deliverables and basic budget tracking.
- Assist in the collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to measure partnership impact against agreed KPIs.
- Support internal communications and knowledge-sharing initiatives to amplify partnership outcomes within the Maison.
- Help organise events, workshops and site visits with partners, ensuring logistical execution and follow-up documentation.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in Sustainability, CSR, Environmental Management, Public Policy, Fashion Management or a related discipline.
- Strong organisational aptitude with proven ability to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce clear presentations and concise reports.
- Analytical mindset with experience handling and summarising quantitative and qualitative data.
- Proactive team player with a collaborative attitude and professional discretion when dealing with external partners.
- Interest in the luxury fashion sector and its sustainability challenges and opportunities.
Skills
Experience
Previous internship experience (6 months or more) in sustainability, CSR, an NGO, consultancy or within a corporate sustainability team is preferred but not mandatory.
Education
Enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree (e.g. Sustainability, CSR, Environmental Science, Fashion Management, Public Policy).
