Chanel Paris internship: Sustainability Certifications Project Coordinator supporting Fashion Division certification strategy and compliance.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Sustainable Development Manager in coordinating and advising on certification management strategy across all Fashion Activities (textile, leather, metals, paper, cardboard, and plastic)
  • Monitor and track certification requirements across eight annual collections in coordination with product lines and Responsible Transformation teams
  • Lead engagement and awareness-raising initiatives with internal stakeholders (Operations teams across product lines) and external partners (suppliers, manufacturers, certifying bodies, and standards organizations)
  • Prepare and support both internal and external partners in audit execution and compliance activities
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses and maintain sector intelligence on industry certifications and their frequent regulatory updates
  • Contribute to team and company initiatives including presentations, team meetings, and training activities

Qualifications

  • Strong interest in cross-functional project management, certifications, responsible transformation, or development and production of textiles, leather, metals, or plastics
  • Pronounced interest in sustainable development issues
  • Demonstrated analytical and synthesis capabilities with multi-stakeholder project management
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in IT tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI; PLM knowledge preferred
  • Fluent in both English and French, written and spoken

Experience
