Chanel in Paris seeks an Alternance Supply Coordination Assistant — Leather Goods (work‑study), starting Sept 2026. Support procurement, order tracking and supplier coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support day‑to‑day coordination of supply and procurement activities for leather goods collections, ensuring alignment with seasonal calendars.
- Monitor purchase orders, production schedules and inbound logistics; track shipments and escalate delivery risks to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain and update ERP and PLM records to ensure product, order and supplier data accuracy.
- Liaise with suppliers, internal merchandising, product development, quality and logistics teams to resolve sourcing and delivery issues.
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards (order status, exceptions, lead times) to inform planners and purchasing managers.
- Assist with inventory reconciliations, sample tracking and corrective actions for shortages or non‑conforming items.
- Support continuous‑improvement initiatives to streamline workflows between sourcing, production and distribution.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a work‑study (alternance) program in supply chain, logistics, procurement, fashion business or a related discipline — availability from September 2026.
- Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Analytical mindset with comfort handling numerical data and producing concise operational reports.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; able to interact professionally with suppliers and cross‑functional teams.
- Proactive approach to problem solving and a willingness to learn in a fast‑paced luxury environment.

Experience
Previous internships or short placements in supply chain, procurement, planning or operations — ideally within fashion, leather goods or retail — are advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme compatible with a French alternance/work‑study contract (supply chain, logistics, procurement, fashion management or equivalent).
