Chanel Internship: Supply Chain Demand Planning (Watches) in Geneva – 6-month internship in demand forecasting and supply chain coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze, monitor, and challenge monthly regional sales forecasts and forecast adjustments, with accountability for accuracy and variability metrics
- Participate in regional planning forums including Touchbase, Demand Review, Consensus, and Validation meetings; prepare meeting documentation and track action plans
- Evaluate and enhance monthly accuracy and variability of machine learning forecasting models and their calibrations
- Attend weekly optimization meetings with the machine learning team to refine and evolve forecasting models
- Design and implement KPIs to track forecast variance between Regions, Divisions, and Finance functions at the most granular level; monitor performance of new product launches
- Develop relevant KPIs for monitoring machine learning model precision and variability
- Harmonize and rationalize KPI frameworks across the Watches and Fine Jewelry divisions
- Document and structure clear procedures for Anaplan processes across regional teams
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Supply Chain function in partnership with the Fine Jewelry Supply Chain team in Paris
- Contribute to preparation of quarterly forums and all-region calls
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an engineering school program (Master's level equivalent or Bac+5)
- Specialization or strong demonstrated interest in Supply Chain management
- Prior professional experience showcasing proficiency with analytical software tools such as Excel, VBA, Power BI, or an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system
- Strong problem-solving orientation with solid analytical capabilities
- Rigorous, methodical approach with demonstrated perseverance and autonomy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent English language proficiency (spoken and written)

At least one prior professional experience (internship or full-time role) demonstrating competency with business intelligence and planning software tools.
Education
Currently pursuing a Master's degree or equivalent (Bac+5) in engineering, with a specialization or focused coursework in Supply Chain management preferred.
