Chanel Production Analyst position in Paris; 12-month fixed-term contract to support manufacturing operations and business analysis.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage a comprehensive suite of analytical tools and performance dashboards for the manufacturing contractor division
  • Develop decision support tools for both operational performance and business management tracking
  • Create and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track manufacturing performance and reporting to leadership
  • Conduct process audits to identify and propose continuous improvement opportunities
  • Coordinate with external partners, materials and supplies departments, design offices, and quality assurance teams on cross-functional performance analysis
  • Prepare business reviews for each manufacturing contractor in the panel with production, design office, quality, and department leadership
  • Track revenue, additional costs, and manufacturing pricing with detailed analysis, projections, and reporting
  • Conduct detailed analysis of operational performance across the manufacturing contractor network
  • Propose and establish business review rituals and cadences
  • Execute ad-hoc analyses as needed
  • Analyze and project the evolution and development of the manufacturing contractor panel
  • Manage administrative and financial follow-up including PLM and ORLIWEB system data entry
  • Issue, obtain director signature, and send official purchase orders
  • Track invoicing for the manufacturing department
  • Monitor department and external design office budgets
  • Conduct inventory counts for materials held by manufacturing contractors
  • Independently manage projects related to responsible transformation initiatives within the manufacturing contractor network
  • Lead continuous improvement projects in logistics, supply chain, and transportation with the global distribution centre and downstream supply chain teams

Qualifications

  • Engineering school diploma, business school diploma, or university degree
  • Multiple experiences in roles with strong analytical dimensions
  • Industrial background (either at headquarters or manufacturing site)
  • Autonomous with strong ability to propose and execute solutions
  • Performance and business oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated capacity to bring teams together
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerBI
  • Strong aptitude for IT systems and new tools
  • Knowledge of ORLIWEB and PLM tools is a plus
