Chanel Accounts Payable Manager role in Paris/Neuilly-sur-Seine, CDI. Manage supplier accounting team, oversee invoice processing, and optimize payment workflows.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a team of seven accounts payable professionals, fostering skill development and cross-functional flexibility within the department
- Oversee daily operational activities and ensure efficient processing of invoices within Basware and the Coupa P2P platform to expedite payment authorization
- Monitor and accelerate urgent vendor settlements and follow up with suppliers and operational divisions within assigned scope
- Analyze and manage purchase order (PO) portfolio to ensure timely invoice processing and accurate monthly accounting provisions
- Track P&L performance indicators by cost center in collaboration with management accounting
- Process and reconcile cut-off accounting entries including non-invoiced purchases (FNP) and deferred charges (CCA)
- Facilitate inter-company account reconciliations with the Client Accounting and General Accounting teams
- Participate in the implementation of electronic invoicing reform alongside the Accounts Payable Manager and the finance transformation department
- Ensure application and adherence to internal control protocols and respond to external audit inquiries
- Develop cross-divisional collaboration with peer accounts payable managers and propose process enhancements to senior leadership
- Identify and synthesize process improvement opportunities to optimize workflows and support tool adoption managed by the Source-to-Pay (S2P) lead
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (DCG, License in Finance, or equivalent qualification)
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in accounts payable and team management
- Strong command of French accounting standards and VAT regulations
- Demonstrable experience with P2P (Procure-to-Pay) software platforms
- Professional proficiency in English
- Excellent organizational skills with strong analytical and synthesis capabilities
- Proven leadership qualities and team-oriented mindset

Minimum 8 years of experience in accounts payable accounting and team management, with demonstrated expertise in supplier invoice processing, payment reconciliation, and leadership of accounting teams.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (DCG—Diplôme de Comptabilité et de Gestion, License in Finance, or equivalent accreditation).
