Chanel is seeking a Subcontracting Production Scheduling Technician for its Perfumes & Beauty operations in Compiègne. The role coordinates production planning and supply for subcontracted skincare and fragrance products, including inventory, transport, order follow-up, and continuous improvement. Permanent contract.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop production plans for skincare and fragrance products manufactured by subcontractors, and manage supply to ensure product availability.
- Review purchase requisitions generated by SAP, issue orders, and take action to meet requirements.
- Arrange transport of packaging components to subcontractors.
- Manage subcontractor inventory and conduct regular stock counts.
- Maintain and optimize system management parameters.
- Analyze performance indicators and raise alerts when deviations occur.
- Monitor orders and negotiate lead times as needed to maintain customer service levels.
- Track shipments of packaging components, semi-finished goods, and raw materials.
- Monitor use-by dates for materials held in subcontractor stock.
- Manage disputes in coordination with Quality and Purchasing.
- Contribute to and lead continuous improvement action plans.
Qualifications
- Bac+2 qualification specializing in production management or logistics.
- Understand supply chain issues and requirements.
- Organized, methodical, and rigorous approach to work.
- Responsive and adaptable when handling day-to-day contingencies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in SAP and O365.
