Role & Responsibilities
- Analyse MRP calculations across the planning horizon while accounting for short- and medium-term production constraints and component availability
- Develop production schedules for existing and new product lines while ensuring capacity alignment and proposing mitigation strategies for capacity overages
- Plan and optimize product shutdowns in accordance with Supply Chain strategy
- Process purchase requests generated in SAP, issue orders, and take action to fulfil procurement needs
- Manage third-party contractor inventories and conduct regular stock audits
- Update and optimise IT system parameters to enhance operational efficiency
- Monitor key performance indicators and escalate any deviations promptly
- Communicate proactively with central Supply Chain teams regarding potential delays, shortages, or availability date discrepancies
- Track orders and negotiate delivery timelines with contractors to maintain customer service levels
- Coordinate and monitor transportation of packaging materials, semi-finished goods, and raw materials
- Manage disputes in collaboration with Quality and Procurement teams
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Secondary education (Bac+2) in production management or logistics
- Demonstrated understanding of supply chain principles and practices
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office 365
- Strong organisational skills and methodical approach to task management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities across all organisational levels
Skills
Experience
Experience in production planning, supply chain operations, or procurement within a manufacturing or outsourced production environment is preferred. Familiarity with third-party contractor management and logistics coordination is advantageous.
Education
Secondary education (Bac+2) specialising in production management or logistics
