Role & Responsibilities
- Translate seasonal fashion messages into wearable wardrobe possibilities that encourage clients to discover and invest in CHANEL collections
- Prepare and present personalized wardrobe selections and appointment setups following the Art of Styling Services framework, including food and beverage setup and wardrobe coordination
- Maintain consistent post-appointment follow-up through styling recommendations, new arrival alerts, and event invitations
- Collaborate closely with tailoring services to deliver impeccable fit and comfort through proactive alteration coordination
- Position ready-to-wear as the anchor of the CHANEL silhouette, integrating handbags, costume jewelry, and accessories to complete each client look
- Support boutique efforts to expand the client portfolio through reactivation of existing clients and recruitment of new patrons
- Develop ready-to-wear business by engaging Fashion Advisors in category and cross-category styling initiatives
- Support Style Expert in preparation of coaching sessions and execute monthly Boutique Styling Activity Plans aligned with seasonal priorities and commercial goals
- Proactively suggest styling alternatives to promote non-obvious or slower-moving pieces while maintaining CHANEL silhouette harmony
- Partner with Fashion Advisors to engage new clients and introduce them to the brand and CHANEL aesthetic
- Post qualitative styling looks on internal Fashion Community platforms, sharing creative ready-to-wear examples and encouraging peer participation
- Participate in boutique buy sessions to represent key client preferences, size demands, and wardrobe needs based on recent styling interactions
- Provide qualitative styling commentary to inform post-collection reviews and future merchandise acquisitions
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in luxury fashion styling and wardrobe curation
- Strong understanding of the CHANEL brand aesthetic and heritage
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build lasting client relationships
- Experience in luxury retail or boutique environments
- Knowledge of fashion silhouettes, proportions, and color theory
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional boutique teams including tailoring and alterations specialists
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in luxury fashion retail, boutique styling, or personal shopping, with demonstrated success in building and maintaining a sophisticated clientele base and driving sales through consultative, personalized service.
Education
Secondary education or higher; fashion education, styling certification, or equivalent professional development in luxury retail is advantageous.
