Chanel Store Planning Financial Analyst Internship in Paris, France—6-month opportunity in corporate financial planning and retail strategy.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze boutique construction, renovation, and refresh projects across European markets with bi-monthly reporting and analytical deliverables
- Define and participate in CAPEX budget allocation for European boutique construction, renovation, refresh, and maintenance initiatives
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data within information systems, including construction costs, spatial metrics, and CAPEX/OPEX categorization
- Independently develop and implement automation solutions for recurring processes including reporting, reconciliation, and data management workflows
- Drive data analytics value through data management initiatives, robot development, and macro-based data processing solutions
- Contribute to strategic analyses and presentations supporting senior management decision-making and business planning
- Support administrative management functions through cost center creation, billing reconciliation reporting, and payment tracking extractions
- Facilitate quarterly closing exercises and annual budget updates across the Maison
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a leading business school or engineering school with specialization in corporate finance
- Demonstrated interest in management accounting and financial control through previous internship experience
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI highly valued
- Strong command of English
- Passion for luxury market dynamics, real estate development, and construction industry trends
Skills
Experience
At least one previous internship or professional experience in financial control, management accounting, or corporate finance functions.
Education
Currently pursuing a degree from a Grande École de Commerce (top-tier business school) or Grande École d'Ingénieur (top-tier engineering school) with a specialization in corporate finance.
