Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end store planning and rollout projects across New South Wales, including new openings, refurbishments and visual merchandising rollouts.
- Produce and manage technical drawings, architectural and fit-out documentation, and close coordination of CAD/Revit assets to ensure constructible solutions.
- Manage project timelines, budgets and procurement; prepare cost estimates and monitor budgetary adherence through delivery.
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (retail operations, visual merchandising, real estate, construction and supply chain) to align design intent with commercial and operational requirements.
- Engage and manage external consultants, contractors and vendors; oversee site inspections, snagging and handover processes.
- Ensure local regulatory compliance, accessibility standards and Chanel brand guidelines are met in all store environments.
- Drive continuous improvement of store planning processes, standards and toolsets to support scaling of the store network.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design or equivalent technical discipline.
- Proven experience (typically 3–7 years) in retail store planning, interior architecture or project management within luxury retail or premium brands.
- Demonstrable technical proficiency with store construction documentation and specifications.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing project budgets and procurement in a retail environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills; able to engage senior internal and external partners.
- Ability to travel regionally to stores and construction sites as required.

Experience
Several years of progressive experience in store planning, retail design or interior architecture, preferably with a focus on luxury fashion retail. Proven track record delivering multiple concurrent fit-out and refurbishment projects from concept through handover.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design or related technical discipline.
