Chanel is hiring a Retail Manager in Seoul to lead boutique operations, client experience and sales performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead all store operations to achieve sales targets, margin objectives and KPIs while upholding Chanel's brand standards and client experience.
- Develop, coach and motivate the retail team through performance management, talent development and daily leadership on the sales floor.
- Deliver exceptional clienteling and aftercare, cultivating long-term relationships with high-value clients and ensuring personalised service.
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, visual merchandising compliance and in-store product presentation.
- Oversee administrative and financial tasks including scheduling, P&L monitoring, cash handling, shrinkage control and compliance with corporate policies.
- Collaborate with regional management and marketing to implement local store initiatives, events and CRM campaigns.
- Ensure loss prevention, health & safety and HR procedures are applied consistently across the boutique.
Qualifications
- Proven managerial experience in luxury fashion or high-end retail, with a demonstrable record of meeting sales and service targets.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills; experience in coaching, development and performance evaluation.
- Excellent clienteling aptitude and a service-first mindset appropriate to an ultra-premium brand.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to analyse sales data, manage stock and translate KPI insight into action.
- High standards of presentation, discretion and professionalism in line with Chanel’s brand values.
- Flexible availability to cover retail hours, events and peak trading periods.
Skills
Experience
Typically 3–5 years of progressive retail management experience within luxury fashion or premium retail, including responsibility for P&L, team leadership and client development.
Education
High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in business, retail management or a related discipline preferred.
