Chanel in Paris seeks a Stockroom Associate at Paris CDG — fixed-term inventory and stock control role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and unpack incoming deliveries; verify quantities and condition against delivery documentation.
- Accurately record receipts and stock movements in the inventory system and maintain up-to-date stock records.
- Prepare and stage merchandise for boutique replenishment, ensuring presentation and rotation meet brand standards.
- Perform regular stock counts and cycle counts; investigate and report discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain an orderly, secure and compliant stockroom environment, adhering to safety and loss-prevention procedures.
- Assist with packing and shipping of goods and occasional internal transfers between locations.
- Collaborate with boutique and logistics teams to prioritize replenishment during peak periods and product launches.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a stockroom, warehouse or inventory role, preferably within luxury retail or duty-free environments.
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail when processing deliveries and counts.
- Physical ability to handle merchandise and lift routine loads; familiarity with safe handling procedures.
- Reliable, punctual and used to operating within strict brand and security standards.
- Legal right to work in France for the duration of the fixed-term contract.
Skills
Experience
Typically 1–2 years in stockroom, warehouse or inventory roles; prior experience in luxury retail or airport/duty-free logistics is advantageous.
Education
Secondary school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in logistics or supply-chain operations preferred but not mandatory.
