Chanel Stock Assistant position in Zurich, Switzerland. Fixed-term full-time role managing inventory and warehouse operations for luxury fashion boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage daily merchandise receiving, storage, and allocation to designated warehouse locations prior to boutique opening
- Maintain organized, optimized storage areas in compliance with internal boutique procedures and ensure the back-office warehouse adheres to established standards
- Process daily transfer requests from boutique staff and partner locations
- Prepare for and participate in rolling inventory counts, ensuring completion before store opening
- Identify discrepancies in rolling inventory reconciliations and support warehouse management in resolution
- Prepare stock inventory for new collection launches and seasonal transitions
- Assist warehouse manager with sale preparation activities including relabeling and stock reorganization
- Act as liaison between back-office warehouse and sales floor, ensuring organized storage spaces and supporting sales associates with merchandise retrieval and fitting room maintenance during peak periods
- Monitor key performance indicators related to inventory operations and proactively contribute improvement ideas
- Collaborate with visual merchandise specialist on stock organization and clearance strategies
Qualifications
- Experience as a Stock Assistant in retail, preferably in fashion or luxury brands
- Fluent in German and English
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel and numerical aptitude
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
