Chanel Stockist position in Guadalajara, Mexico – manage inventory and stock operations in a luxury fashion boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Receive and organize daily product deliveries before store opening, storing goods in designated locations and restocking the sales floor according to daily sales activity
- Maintain an orderly and optimized stock area in accordance with boutique procedures, ensuring efficient product accessibility
- Process daily transfer requests from boutique staff and coordinate inter-boutique transfers
- Prepare for and participate in rolling stock-takes, completing all counts before store opening and analyzing discrepancies
- Prepare inventory for new collection launches and support the Stock Manager in sales preparation activities such as relabelling and reorganization
- Serve as a liaison between back-office stock and sales floor, ensuring all storage areas remain organized while providing support to sales and fitting room teams during peak periods
- Monitor key performance indicators related to stock activity and propose improvements to operational efficiency
- Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising specialist on stock organization and floor placement of slow-moving items
- Contribute to the seamless running of the boutique in accordance with established operational procedures
- Identify solutions to enhance workflow on the boutique floor and support the sales team in facilitating client transactions
Qualifications
- Experience as a Stock Assistant or similar role in the retail sector, preferably in fashion or luxury brands
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong numerical aptitude
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
