Chanel is hiring a Stockist in Los Cabos. Manage boutique inventory, receiving, stockroom operations and loss-prevention for the Chanel boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and log incoming deliveries; verify quantities and condition of merchandise against packing lists and purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts, stock reconciliations and discrepancy investigations.
- Organize and maintain the stockroom to Chanel presentation standards, ensuring swift pick-and-pack access for the sales floor.
- Prepare merchandise for boutique replenishment and visual merchandising teams, including tagging, steaming and damage-free handling.
- Coordinate inter-store transfers and shipments with regional distribution and logistics teams, ensuring traceability and timely movement.
- Support loss-prevention processes by following security protocols, reporting irregularities and securing high-value items.
- Collaborate with sales advisors and management to prioritise replenishment, sample handling and client reservations.
Qualifications
- Proven reliability, discretion and integrity when handling high-value luxury merchandise.
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail for stock reconciliation and record-keeping.
- Ability to work collaboratively with boutique teams and external logistics partners.
- Physical capability for manual handling, extended standing and stockroom duties.
Skills
Experience
Typically 1–2 years of stockroom, inventory control or back-of-house experience in retail, ideally within luxury or premium boutique environments. Familiarity with boutique workflows, shipment handling and loss-prevention procedures is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in logistics, retail operations or supply-chain fundamentals is advantageous.
