Chanel is hiring a Stock Operations Supervisor in Western Australia (Perth). Oversee inventory, the stockroom team and loss-prevention for a luxury boutique.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily stockroom operations including receiving, unpacking, tagging and storage of merchandise in accordance with Chanel procedures.
  • Manage and coach stockroom staff to ensure productivity, adherence to SOPs and a customer-focused mindset when supporting the sales floor.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, stocktakes and reconciliation; investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Coordinate replenishment to the sales floor and timely processing of returns, transfers and markdowns.
  • Implement and enforce loss-prevention and security protocols, including secure handling of high-value items and controlled access to stock areas.
  • Own operational KPIs and produce routine reports on inventory levels, shrinkage, throughput and stock ageing for store leadership.
  • Liaise with store management, visual merchandising and regional logistics teams to align stock flow with commercial priorities and launches.
  • Train team members on inventory systems, RFID/WMS procedures and Chanel-specific handling requirements to preserve product integrity.

Qualifications

  • Proven supervisory experience in a luxury retail or premium-brand stockroom, boutique or warehouse environment.
  • Demonstrable track record of maintaining inventory accuracy and driving improvements in stock control processes.
  • Strong leadership and people-management capabilities, including coaching, performance management and shift coordination.
  • High level of discretion and understanding of handling high-value merchandise.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and capacity to work under busy, deadline-driven retail conditions.

Experience
