Stock Assistant at Chanel, Sydney. Full-time inventory and after-sales support role in luxury fashion retail.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end coordination of all stock requests, transfers, and distributions between the boutique, distribution centre, and Head Office Buying Office
  • Provide daily support to floor staff on stock issues, including running stock to the floor and managing stock replenishment
  • Unpack and verify all incoming stock deliveries and transfers from other boutiques and the distribution centre
  • Conduct physical stock checks and sign off on deliveries and transfers against manifests
  • Report any stock discrepancies to the Boutique Manager or Assistant Boutique Manager
  • Collaborate with the boutique team to coordinate stock rotation and stock take processes
  • Maintain communication with Fashion Advisors regarding customer repair status, including outgoing repairs, updates, and completed items

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar stock or inventory role, preferably within the luxury or high-end fashion retail sector
  • Superior organisation skills and meticulous attention to detail with high accuracy and efficiency
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Proven experience with point-of-sale (POS) and RFID systems, with ability to generate reports and manage inventory
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills across all organisational levels
  • Impeccable personal presentation and grooming standards in line with Chanel guidelines
