Chanel seeks a Stock Assistant in St. Moritz to manage inventory, deliveries and stockroom operations for its boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and record incoming deliveries; verify contents against delivery notes and purchase documentation.
- Unpack, tag and prepare merchandise for storage or immediate display, ensuring product integrity and presentation standards.
- Organize and maintain the stockroom to luxury-brand standards, including proper storage, labelling and rotation of seasonal stock.
- Replenish the salesfloor promptly and accurately, liaising with sales advisors to prioritise client requests and merchandising needs.
- Perform regular stocktakes and cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies and support loss-prevention procedures.
- Operate the boutique's inventory and stock-management systems to record movements, transfers and adjustments.
- Coordinate transfers and returns between boutiques and central warehouses, ensuring documentation accuracy.
- Support visual merchandising and boutique teams during deliveries, events and stock transitions, maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail stockroom, inventory control or logistics; experience within luxury retail strongly preferred.
- Proven numeracy and attention to detail, with the ability to reconcile invoices and stock records accurately.
- Physical ability to handle merchandise, including lifting and prolonged standing; familiarity with safe lifting procedures.
- Strong organisational skills and capacity to maintain immaculate stockroom standards under time pressure.
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling high-value goods and client-related stock.

Experience
Typically 1–2 years in a retail stockroom, warehouse or logistics role; previous exposure to luxury or premium retail environments is highly advantageous.
Education
Secondary education; vocational training in logistics, retail operations or a related field is desirable but not mandatory.
