Chanel in Madrid seeks a Stock Assistant to manage stockroom operations, inventory control and replenishment for its retail boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and log inbound deliveries; verify quantities, SKUs and quality against delivery documentation.
- Maintain accurate stock records through cycle counts, stocktakes and real-time updates to the inventory system.
- Prepare, label and stage merchandise for the sales floor, ensuring product presentation and replenishment meet brand standards.
- Coordinate inter-store transfers, manage returns and prepare goods for shipment in accordance with company procedures.
- Enforce loss-prevention, security protocols and store housekeeping to protect high-value inventory.
- Support merchandising and store teams during visual resets, product launches and seasonal transitions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of stockroom, warehouse or retail inventory experience; luxury fashion experience preferred.
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail with a proven ability to maintain inventory integrity.
- Physical ability to handle regular lifting, bending and standing required for stockroom duties.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work within a team-oriented retail environment.
- Right to live and work in Spain.
Skills
Experience
At least one year of hands-on experience in a stockroom, warehouse or retail inventory role; prior exposure to luxury or fashion retail environments is advantageous.
Education
Secondary education (high school diploma) or equivalent; vocational qualification in logistics, retail or supply-chain is a plus.
