Chanel — Stock Assistant in Macao SAR. Responsible for inventory control, goods receiving and stockroom operations at Chanel's Macao boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and log incoming shipments; verify quantities and documentation against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts, stock adjustments and reconciliation using the store’s inventory system.
- Prepare merchandise for sales floor replenishment and coordinate timely transfers between stockroom and retail areas.
- Organise and maintain a secure, orderly stockroom compliant with brand housekeeping and loss-prevention procedures.
- Process returns, repairs and inter-store transfers; prepare outbound shipments and liaise with logistics partners.
- Operate handheld RF scanners and basic inventory terminals; generate stock reports to support store management decisions.
- Collaborate closely with sales advisors and store leadership to prioritise replenishment during peak trading and product launches.
Qualifications
- Secondary school completion or equivalent; vocational qualification in logistics/retail is advantageous.
- Demonstrable attention to detail and numerical accuracy for stock reconciliation and documentation.
- Physical ability to lift and move stock, stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced retail back-of-house.
- Reliable time management and flexibility to work retail shifts, including weekends and peak trading periods.
- High standards of discretion, organisation and adherence to security and brand procedures.
Skills
Experience
Typically 1–2 years’ experience in retail stock control, warehouse operations or logistics; prior experience in luxury retail or fashion preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
